XIOR Madrid Retiro is one of the uppermost student residences in Madrid city center. It is located in the heart of the Barrio de Salamanca , next to the “golden mile”, where you will find plenty of shops, restaurants and leisure areas. It is the most exclusive and safest area of Madrid.
It is very near the Retiro Park, the green lung of the city and the favourite place of many people to practice sports in the open air.
This high standing student accommodation in Madrid is perfectly communicated by Metro and bus with the main Universities and Business Schools of Madrid. The residence is near IE Business School (7 minutes away walking), which makes it the best student housing in Madrid if you are enrolled in any of their full-time programs.
There is also a public service point for rent electric bicycles “Bici Mad” very nearby.

How much does a student room in Madrid cost? What type of rooms will I find at Xior Madrid Residence?
Various types of single and double rooms (standard/superior) are available, some of them with terrace. Spacious and luminous, Xior Madrid Retiro student rooms and flats are designed in such a way that you will always feel like home.
Our flats for students are new and modern and all of them are equipped with full private bathroom. In addition, each floor has a kitchenette available 24 hours, with microwave, refrigerator, sink and seating area if you fancy a snack!
You will find an embracing and international community, which will allow you to enjoy your Erasmus experience in Madrid at the most.
The price of the rooms starts from 1410€ per month with half-board included.
The rates of a student room in Madrid at Xior includes:
- Accommodation in the selected room.
- All supplies, light and electricity included.
- Wi-Fi in the entire building and Internet via cable in all rooms.
- Room cleaning once the week.
- All bed linen and towels weekly change
- Use and access to all facilities of the building,

How about meals for residence guests? Will I be able to eat healthy?
At Xior, we encourage a healthy diet in a healthy environment that adapts to our student guests’ new way of living. Our restaurant service offers varied, healthy and tasty meals, prepared with fresh ingredients.
If you are vegan, vegetarian or if you have any type of allergy or intolerance, please let us know and we will offer you a special meal plan. Also, a take away food service is offered on those days when you can not make it to the student residence for lunchtime.
We offer our residents a half-board or full-board service, which is included in the rates depending on the type of accommodation chosen (half-board or full-board accommodation).

Opening days of the restaurant:
Monday to Friday: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Saturday: Brunch. A brunch is equivalent to 1 breakfast and 1 lunch.
Sunday: Dinner
HALF BOARD
Includes 20 breakfast tickets and 20 lunch or dinner tickets to be consumed in the same month of purchase.
FULL BOARD
Includes 20 breakfast tickets and 40 lunch or dinner tickets to be consumed in the same month of purchase.
